The School on the Hill A Story of the Lawrencetown Schools Volume 2

The School on the Hill, A Story of the Lawrencetown Schools Volume 2, is a continuation from Volume 1. Volume 1 was a historical account of the Lawrencetown School System. However, author David Whitman soon realized there was too much information to be comprised into only one book. Volume 2 continues to tell the story of the School on the Hill which is set in the small community of Lawrencetown in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. One of it’s main features is school spirit and the many groups, clubs, sports teams, activities and organizations associated with the school. Volume 2 also discusses the history of the Lawrencetown Elementary School which opened in 1975.

As seen in Volume 1, Volume 2 shares a variety of stories, memories, and photographs collected from former students, teachers and members of the community.
